My parents are using the DynUpdater 4.9.7 Beta (available at [http://cdn.dyn.com/dynupdater/DynUpdater-Beta.dmg][1]) under OS X 10.9.
They are finding that every day or so, they are prompted (again) to agree to the terms and conditions and then to re-enter their DynDNS account details as the old ones have been forgotten.
Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix this?

How to assign my DYNDNS HOSTNAMES using my DYN hosted domain
I have been using DYNDNS services for over 3 years now, i finally got around to creating/registering my own domain which is also hosted by DYNDNS. My issue is, i would like to have my dynamic hosts update using my registered domain name, the one of the many they give you with a pro account.
Say my domain is DNSNOOBIE.com, when i go to add a host, i can only use the given domain names that DYNDNS provides to us (dyndns.org, getmyip.com. So instead of having HOME.GETMYIP.com, i would like HOME.DNSNOOBIE.com. Yes i could add a A record but since my home is dynamic, i would like it to dynamically update.
I must be missing something really simple, but after searching my account and google for a few hours this is my last resort and hope =)

DynUpdater for multiple networks on laptop
I have a laptop that connects to 4 different DDNS hosts (like foobar3@dyndns.org, foobar4@dyndns). How do I configure the DynUpater so it can sense what network it is on and update it? Internally, foobar3 uses a router at 192.168.3.1, foobar4 uses 192.168.4.1. The laptop can connect either with Ethernet or WiFi. Is this possible?

Dyndns updater says "Unable to refresh host list. WinHttpSendRequest failed."
Hi,
Just this morning, the dyndns updater (version 4) on Win 2003/2008 started giving error "Unable to refresh host list. WinHttpSendRequest failed." and it is unable to start. However the latest version (V 5) is starting but it is not syncing my WAN IP address. When i check the logs it says "An error occured processing the API request" and "API request failed. Status:500 Method: ipaddress.get" then it leaves a warning "unable to get IP add for abcxyz.dyndns.org, will try later"
Please help.

DDNS fails from SonicWall TZ210
DynDNS has stopped accepting updates from my SonicWall TZ210 as of April 6, 2014.
The SonciWall is running firmware version 5.9.0.3-117o, so I know this isn't the certificate problem that occurred last year (almost exactly a year ago). Did something else change?
I'm trying to get log output from the SonicWall for more information, but for now all I have is "(Network error) as of 04/19/2014 07:20:44." on the Dynamic DNS settings page for each of my DynDNS profiles.

Update client Dyn Updater: Account deleted after restarting Windows 7
I use the ***Dyn Updater v5.0.1*** on a ***Windows 7 64Bit Ultimate machine (SP1)***.
- Installed the client and added my DYN-DNS Account
Everything is just fine until I restart Windows and the Host is not in the Host List anymore and no account is defined -> I start from new every time...
I looked around, googled around... does anybody know about the problem?

dyn update interface has changed
Hello. I am having trouble setting the updater. I usually configure the update client settings to initiate as windows starts but now i cannot find this option.
How can I do this now? It is very important because the IP changes very often. Which means I cannot access to my DVR anymore.

dyndns updater - inactive host - can't change ipv4 settings

The problem is with dyndns updater. It don't work. I can't throught him change ipv4 settings.
It by self automatically put all settings to disabled.
And i think that this is a reason why I can't connect to remote device.
Remote device is set on local ip:80 like 192.168.1.78:80

DynUpdater on Mac Yosemite OSX 10.10 DP3 not showing
Anyone on here with a similar problem? The DynUpdater client is not showing up anywhere even though it is apparently running.
It's not in the task bar on the top of the screen? nor the dock?

DYN updater mac 5.0.2 does not update automatically
The updater does not refresh IP address automatically, only manually using preferences - Refresh IP function
Obviously, lack of automatic update function makes the updater useless.
Mac running OS X v 10.9.4
The updater worked I till recently, when DYN updater new version update was installed. Now works only when IP refreshed manually.
Please advise how to resolve.

Can I have a seperate login for each subdomain its dynamic dns?
Hello,
I have one Dyn account with some domainnames.
Every domainname has Dyn Standard DNS Service .
I have lots of devices connected with dyndns because they cahge their IP-Adress sometimes.
I always have to use the same login in every device to setup the dyndns system.
Does Dyn have a system where I can have a seperate username (prefix is also fine) and password for every subdomain-name?

DYN Updater: Fails on startup when internet connection is delayed
Hello
I'm using the Dyn Updater App on a remote Windows 7 machine. The Machine is connected to the internet over an USB-UMTS modem.
On Windows startup this modem needs some time to connect to internet. This means the internet is not available right away after startup.
Problem:
If the Update Client has no internet connection at windows startup, there comes a Message Box which says "connection error to members.dyndns.org".
In the meantime the connection to the internet was established, but your Dyn Updater does not retry if an internet connection is now available.
This is a fatal ERROR, I will never get to know the updated remote IP-Adress of my Windows 7 machine. So basically my machine is lost!
Somebody has now to click "OK" on the Message Box with the error and manually refresh the host list on site, that I will get the remote dynamic Ip-Adress!
Is there a workaround for this Problem?

dynUpdater can not activate
I have purchased 'Dyn Standard DNS' a week ago and installed Dyn Updater. Since then my PC (OS-W7) freezes every time when I try to activate. I have uninstalled the application and would like to cancel my subscription but I can not get any way of doing it. Please, provide me with the phone number of way how to cancel the service.
